After a successful debut of Early Voting last fall, the Broome County Board of Elections will open two Early Voting Centers for the combined June Primary Election.

Eligible voters enrolled in a party holding a Primary Election (Democrats, Republicans, Conservative, and Independence) may vote early between June 13th and June 21st. The hours of voting vary by day:

  • Saturday, June 13th - Noon - 5p.m.

  • Sunday, June 14th - Noon - 5p.m.

  • Monday, June 15th - Noon - 8p.m.

  • Tuesday, June 16th - Noon - 8p.m.

  • Wednesday, June 17th - 10a.m. - 6p.m.

  • Thursday, June 18th - 10a.m. - 6p.m.

  • Friday, June 19th - 10a.m. - 6p.m.

  • Saturday, June 20th - Noon - 5p.m.

  • Sunday, June 21st - Noon - 5p.m.


The New York State Board of Elections has issued a statement for voters ahead of the June 23rd Primary Election.


In accordance of the New York State Constitution, Election Law, and the Governor's Executive Orders the State Board of Elections is providing voters with guidance on how to request an Absentee Ballot or vote safely in person.

The Broome County Board of Elections is working on consolidating from 108 to 34 Poll Sites for the June 23rd Primary Election and Early Voting.



All voters not voting at their usual poll site will be notified by post card of any change in voting location.
