Today was Ballot Counting Day for the Federal Primary in the 7-way Democratic race in the 19th Congressional Districts.

Pat Ryan improved on his election day vote total and win among the voters of Broome.


However, Antonio Delgado edged Gareth Rhodes and Pat Ryan by 3-4% across the whole Congressional District.

It's Ballot Counting Day in Broome County for last week's Federal Primary Election. Board of Elections staff will open all valid Absentee and Affidavit Ballots for counting beginning at 1pm.

Ballot opening and counting is open to the public in the BOE Auditorium on the 2nd Floor of the Broome County Office Building, 60 Hawley St, Binghamton.


Results will be posted this afternoon, after the completion of the counting, available online at www.BroomeVotes.com/results.

The Broome County Board of Election offices will be closed along with the Broome County Office Building this Wednesday, July 4th, in observance of the Independence Day Holiday.
